1. Commitment to Net Zero
Katnic Ltd trading as H&M Health & Mobility and H&M Bathlifts is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 across Scope 1, Scope 2 and relevant Scope 3 emissions.
This commitment supports the UK Government’s Net Zero target and the wider public sector ambition to reach Net Zero. It applies to all activities undertaken across the organisation, including the delivery of public sector and commercial contracts.
2. Baseline Emissions Footprint

2026 is the first year in which the organisation has formally measured and recorded its greenhouse gas emissions in line with the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol.
As this is the organisation’s first formal assessment, the baseline year and reporting year are the same.

3. Reporting Year Emissions

As this is the organisation’s first year of formal emissions reporting, the reporting year emissions are the same as the baseline emissions.

The reporting year end date falls within 12 months of the date of publication and meets UK Government Carbon Reduction Plan reporting requirements.
4. Carbon Reduction Targets
Katnic Ltd trading as H&M Health & Mobility and H&M Bathlifts commits to achieving a minimum 90% absolute reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, without reliance on carbon offsetting to meet this target.
Interim reduction targets are:
- 30% reduction by 2030
- 60% reduction by 2040
- Net Zero by 2050
Targets will be reviewed annually and updated as data accuracy and measurement maturity improve.
5. Environmental Management Measures
The following environmental management measures are in place or will be applied across the organisation, including in the delivery of public sector contracts:
Energy and Buildings
- Use of energy efficient LED lighting within office and warehouse areas
- Monitoring and review of electricity consumption
- Operational controls to minimise heating and energy waste
Transport and Logistics
- Consolidation of deliveries to reduce vehicle journeys
- Use of national logistics partners with route optimisation and low emission vehicle strategies
- Preference for repair, refurbishment and reuse of equipment where appropriate, reducing manufacturing and transport emissions
Products and Packaging
- Supply of durable, long life products designed for multiple reuse cycles
- Reduction of single use packaging where possible
- Use of recyclable packaging materials
Waste Management
- Segregation of waste streams
- Recycling of cardboard, plastics and electrical components
- Use of licensed waste contractors
Digital and Office Practices
- Paperless ordering, invoicing and record management systems
- Digital document storage and reporting
6. Measuring and Monitoring
Greenhouse gas emissions will be measured annually using the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol methodology.
Data sources include:
- Utility bills
- Fuel usage records
- Courier and transport data
- Waste contractor reports
- Staff travel and commuting information
Performance against reduction targets will be reviewed annually by senior management.
7. Governance and Responsibility
Overall responsibility for the Carbon Reduction Plan sits with senior management.
The plan has been reviewed and approved at Director level and applies to all activities within the reporting boundary.
8. Declaration
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 006 – Taking Account of Carbon Reduction Plans and relevant UK Government carbon reporting guidance.
The plan is published and publicly available and will be reviewed and updated annually.
